Andrés Salgado Romeo

Dean of School of Engineering

Founder and CEO of ENC Energy Consultants, with over 33 years of experience in the electric power sector, specializing in commercialization, regulation, and business development.

Executive Director of the Economic Load Dispatch Center of Chile’s Central Interconnected System (CDECSIC) until 2016, responsible for the operation and planning of the country’s largest electrical system.

Professor and partner at ME3, a company focused on training energy professionals in areas such as regulation and electricity market commercialization, in partnership with Adolfo Ibáñez University.

Francisco J. Valdés López

José Ortega Martínez

Dean of the School of Education

With over 48 years of experience in education, José Ortega is a pioneer in creating and managing academic institutions.

Founder, advisor, and president of multiple schools and universities, including UVM and UNITEC, he has left a significant mark on Mexico’s educational landscape.

In 2000, he partnered with Laureate International Universities, helping drive their global expansion to over one million students across 90 universities in 40 countries.

Currently, he serves as President of the Board at Escuelas Nuevo Continente and Grupo Educación.
